Feeling the call of the West (as so many do these days), O’Connell began his Colorado Culinary adventure as a Sous Chef at the Lodge Casino in Blackhawk in 2012. When not honing his culinary skills, O’Connell enjoys all the outdoor beauty Colorado has to offer, by hiking, swimming, camping and climbing fourteeners in the Rocky Mountains.
After being with Hilton Garden Inn and Territory Kitchen & Bar for the past year, O’Connell is now the Executive Chef. O’Connell loves coming to work, knowing he’ll learn something new every day. His favorite thing about working at the Hilton Garden Inn is working with the strongest hospitality team in Denver.
Located steps from the Colorado Convention Center and the 16th Street Mall, Territory is a convenient stop whether in town for work or play. Our bar is open daily with a fantastic happy hour from 3 pm until 6 pm.
